If you are looking for a mailing list/autoresponder provider you should head on over to Wahm Talk Radio’s blog and read the post ‘Spark An Idea!’ About Email. Kelly talks about a new provider, MailChimp, she is really loving.

And to carry on with more spark an idea about email themes head on over and see what Susan Payton had to say in her post Eleven Email Marketing Tips.

This post is a little bit older but I just came across it again today and wanted to mention it. A lot of people are using Facebook these days and Mari Smith offers some awesome advice about how to properly use it to get maximum results. Her post Top Ten Tips For Creating BUZZ With Facebook Events is a great read if you are using or thinking about using Facebook to post your events.

Features or Benefits – Which One are You Selling was a stop me in my tracks and think post by Melinda at Wahm Biz Builder. Many people think that to the customer the product is everything and obviously to a certain extent it is. But honestly it’s not as important as you think. Melinda points out what is really important to the customer. It’s definitely worth the read.

Good ole Murphey’s Law. We all know it, some better than others probably. So it’s no surprise that as WAHM’s things happen too. While you can’t prevent Murphey’s Law you certainly can help offset the damage by being prepared. Check out WAHM’s and Murphey’s Law for some pointers on what to do when it strikes.

If you’re a Virtual Assistant, VA Marketing Tip: What Else is a post you should definitely not pass up reading. She suggests that you do one simple task this week for your current clients and past clients. It was interesting to see the suggestion she made. It was all about creating front of mind awareness.

If you offer any type of freebie on your site holding your freebies hostage by Alice Seba is a must read. The post was inspired by another post that she read and she shares a couple comments that were made on the other post. Definitely worth the read!

I found this great post, are you really prepared to work from home over on Your Virtual Assistant blog. Even though I’m already working from home there were some key tips in this post and it was well worth the read.

This post actually comes in two parts. It’s called Lesson Learned. Lesson learned Part 1 talks about how all the links to her free eBooks were bad. She didn’t know how long they were bad or how they even went bad. Lesson learned part 2 she finds out it wasn’t the links at all but the whole website. Moral of the story? Check your links and website on a regular basis.

Once again I’m mentioning that content is king. We all know how important it is to our website. It can be hard always coming up with not just fresh content but compelling content. Melissa Ingold provides some tips you can follow to provide compelling content for your readers.

Alice Seba shares a top 10 list of reasons why eBook marketing rocks. eBook marketing is a great way to earn an extra few hundred dollars a month or even make a full-time income! It’s inexpensive to get started, you don’t have to do much for the upkeep and the profit margin can be huge!

I missed this post when Carrie Wilkerson first published it last week but glad I found it. Niche marketing is something everyone talks about especially when people are first starting out in business. If you are confused about the whole niche marketing thing you won’t want to miss this post. Carrie does a great job breaking it down and explaining it in easy to understand terms.

Organize your day – plan the night before is a no brainer for some. A lot of people find it easier to schedule their time if they plan everything out the night before. Have you thought of lawn greetings as a way to start your own business in this tough economy? Maybe you’ve never even heard of lawn greetings (just for the record I hadn’t! LOL). Lawn greetings is certainly an interesting home business and if you would like to learn more make sure to check out the post and read about a free teleseminar coming up on April 22nd.

I don’t even remember how I found this post, 10 Free Tools Every Freelance Writer Needs; These are Must Haves! but if you are freelance writer I recommend you take a look at it. The author, Emily Retherford did a great job providing a list of 10 tools that every freelance writer needs. Even if you just do writing for yourself for you website, newsletter, etc I’d still recommend taking a look at this list of tools.

Again this is another post that I don’t even remember how I found but glad I did! Multitasking is something that I’m pretty sure ALL of us do on a regular basis, if not daily! I know that if I didn’t multitask I wouldn’t ever get anything done. But after reading The Dangers Of Multitasking it’s made me really stop and think about whether it’s benefiting me or not. Sure I feel like I’m accomplishing more but in reality if I really think about it multitasking seems to set me farther back or farther behind. Very interesting read!

If you are a freelance writer, virtual assistant, business coach, etc – anything that has to do with being an online business owner, you need to stop and read Why You Need to Monitor Your Online Reputation. There were a couple things in there of reasons why that I never stopped and thought about.

This post Do You Have Permission to Market? really hit home with me. Not because I’m in the wrong marketing to people that haven’t given me permission but because of the spammy emails I get on a more frequent basis than I like. If I haven’t opted in to receive a newsletter or other information from you I probably don’t want information on your business, etc. But yet I still get emails from people offering their products, etc. Make sure you have permission to market first before you do it! Great post to check out!

For those of you in Direct Sales this is a must read post, If You Wear It Will They Come? Many direct sales companies offer shirts, hats, tote bags, etc that are branded with their logo. She shares that sometimes she sees it appropriate to promote your business by wearing a shirt or hate etc but she also points out that some people try to compensate for their fear of starting a conversation by substituting logo-wear. I’m not a direct sales person but this post caught my eye and I really enjoyed reading it.

I think it’s probably common knowledge by now that the world of internet marketing is huge and you have to differentiate yourself from your competition. Here are some tips on how you can use a unique offering when marketing to internet marketers.

As soon as I saw the title of this post, Facebook vs. Twitter: What’s on Your Mind, What are You Doing?  I knew it was going to be an interesting read.
